Shipping policy
Every GALOVTE piece is printed after you order it. Nothing is pre-made, so there is a production step before your parcel is posted. This page explains what that means for cost and timing, with the actual numbers.
Where your order is printed and posted
GALOVTE is run from British Columbia. The printing is not. Your item is made and posted from our production facility in China, and it travels to you from there.
We would rather you knew that before you ordered than worked it out from the tracking. It is the reason a GALOVTE parcel takes longer than something posted from down the road, and it is the reason we can print a design to order at all instead of holding a warehouse full of stock that nobody has asked for yet.
How long it takes
Two stages, and they are separate.
- Production: 1 to 6 working days. Your item is printed and finished. Nothing ships until this is done.
- Delivery. The parcel travels to you. This depends on where you are.
To the United States. Transit averages 5 days, and 95 per cent of parcels arrive within 7. With production, most US orders land within 1 to 2 weeks of being placed.
To Canada and Australia. Transit averages 10 days, and 95 per cent arrive within 15. With production, expect 2 to 4 weeks. This is the honest window. Some arrive well inside it.
Everywhere else. Broadly similar to Canada, though slower postal routes and customs checks can push a parcel towards 5 weeks.
If you are ordering for a birthday, Christmas or any other fixed date, order well ahead. We cannot guarantee a delivery date, and we would rather tell you that now than have you gamble on it.
What shipping costs
Most of the places we post to are on a flat rate. One tee or a full order, the postage is the same, and it is set in Canadian dollars so it does not move with the exchange rate.

Free shipping over $75 applies in Canada and the United States. It does not apply anywhere else.
In Canada and the United States the flat rate covers your order whatever its size. Outside those two, the flat rate covers orders up to three kilograms, which is more than most orders ever reach — in New Zealand and the Netherlands it covers up to two. A heavier order than that is priced by weight instead.
Where an order is priced by weight, a single tee costs less to send than a hoodie, and adding a second item costs less than doubling. Those rates are set in US dollars and converted for you, so they shift a little with the exchange rate.
The precise amount is shown at checkout before you pay anything, and nothing is added after that.

When your order ships
You will get an email as soon as your order is on its way. Where the carrier provides tracking, the link will be in that email.
Customs and duties
Import duty and tax on your parcel are already paid before it reaches you. There is nothing to settle with the courier on delivery and no handling fee to pay at the door.
A small number of remote destinations can still raise a local charge of their own. That would come from your own customs authority rather than from us, and it is rare.
Getting your address right
Please check your delivery address before you confirm your order. If a parcel is returned because the address was wrong or incomplete, you will need to pay postage again for it to be sent out a second time.
If something goes wrong
